  • As an online PT coach I work with you to achieve your health and well-being goals. I guide and support my clients to cut through the noise and adapt movement & nutrition to fit into their lifestyle, rather than the other way around.

    We will work on various aspects of your life such as a healthy mindset, nutritional support, changes in your life and making positive & sustainable systems to help you in the future.

    The focus of my coaching is to go beyond traditional personal training, encompassing your physical, mental, and emotional well-being, as well as lifestyle factors.

    You don’t live your life in a vacuum, that’s why my coaching adapts to the individual - because no two people are the same and your life experiences are as unique as your fingerprints.

Meet your coach

Hello I’m Lindiwe,

I am a qualified Personal Trainer, who coaches online using Sport Psychology techniques. I started my fitness journey in 2008, when I was 16. I tried everything I could to lose weight and fit the stereotype of the thin girl (just like all of my friends looked). Now, this is probably a story you have heard before, and will probably hear again. However, looking back I realised that all the ways in which I tried to get that perfect body, all the times I ‘failed’ were setting me up to do what I do now.

In my childhood, I did everything - running, track, gymnastics, dance, circus - I was always moving. That was up until I hit puberty and my genetics kicked in. I became hungry and lethargic. I stopped moving, began eating excessively and lost a part of my identity - I wouldn’t get that back until much later in life.

At 24, I had a stroke. Before that, I had gone through many body shapes and struggles but after my stroke by main goals was to become strong, I wanted to feel in control of my body again. That moment changed everything for me. I got to my goal weight, I looked the best i ever had ever looked, but something always kept me on that conveyor belt. I always went back to my teenage self, even if for a short time, and then I would go back on the “fitness” bandwagon and so on for about 4 years.

The pandemic changed my eating and fitness habits. I realised that moving and eating intuitively, is what my body craves, the same thing I did when I was a child. However, when we were about to get back to our normal lives my mindset went back to the old way of thinking. It was only in Jan 2022 that I realised that I couldn’t move, eat, live one way for the rest of my life. I didn’t want to track protein, go to the gym 5 days a week, get 12k steps, run 5 miles and weigh myself daily. Looking back at that time in my younger years taught me how special it was to just move how I wanted to without the need for the aesthetic appearance. Children run when they can walk, they skip and jump randomly - they aren’t doing it for losing weight or toning up. Life should be about living the way you want to and not doing it for outward appearances; how you feel is the most important.
